What a Difference Eight Years Makes

Are you ready for your JCMG Medspa experience?This year I am celebrating my eight year anniversary with JCMG Laser & Vein Center! Wow, right!? A lot has changed over these years, personally and professionally. I am very thankful for every moment, definitely continue to learn something new every day, and am always excited to share that knowledge with you.

Our one facility is now two beautiful businesses, JCMG Laser & Vein Center and JCMG Medspa. The best of both worlds right here in Jefferson City!

The new facility, JCMG Medspa, is for all ages and YOU choose your “experience”. Are you a teen that suffers from acne, is curious about simple makeup tips, or just wants to start a skin care routine? Maybe your 20’s are bringing thoughts of what you can do now to keep wrinkles and brown spots from forming.

Are you in your 30’s or 40’s? You’re probably spending time taking care of others – kids, jobs, your spouse – and you’re probably not getting enough sleep. Collagen loss really starts to manifest during our 40’s, and we also begin noticing other things that have slowly started showing up: uneven skin tone, wrinkles and texture changes.

And then there’s the phase that I’m in…50 and menopause! Dry skin, laxity, s l o w e r rate of skin cell turnover, which means dead skin cells are collecting on the surface, making lines look deeper, brown spots darker, and the skin’s overall appearance duller, less plump and less youthful. For those of you 60+, focus on skin hydration and continuing to reverse the signs of aging.

It’s Sunsational month again at Genesis! We are looking forward to and getting geared up for our 16th annual Sunsational Celebration Open House on May 18th. It’s hard to believe how many of these we have put on as a company. Every year we are so grateful to all who celebrate with us. This year also marks, for me, 16 years of being a client of Genesis. As some of you know, Dr. Prasad and Barb are my parents, so I was exposed to great skincare products and sun protection from a young age. As I have grown up, and when I began my career at Genesis eight years ago, I tried even more of the services and products we offer. I can’t say enough how much they have changed my life. Everything I have tried has been fabulous, from vein care and Biote Hormone Replacement to routine facials and Botox. At 31, I feel younger than I used to and feel more confident in my skin than ever before. I have grown up around a lot of my Genesis team, and we have added some newer faces as the years have passed. They are amazing! I feel privileged to work with such a solid and passionate group of people. I think this place is pretty magical and you can feel it when you come through our doors. So, I invite you to hang out with us, meet the team, and experience all the fabulousness Genesis offers this month. Find something that will help you feel better or be more confident.
