Harlene’s Story: Lighter, Brighter, Healthier Skin

Approaching the finish line……..

It has now been over nine months of focusing on skin rejuvenation for Harlene. What a fun ride it has been. Not just focusing on her skin care goals and needs, but getting to know her. She is kind, caring, and quite funny! I have enjoyed reading her stories, but most importantly, I have enjoyed her friendship. I take great pride in my job and what I have to offer as a skin care provider, making it a fun venture everyday and keeping it “real”. JCMG Laser and Vein Center makes this journey special for every single individual that I have the privilege to treat.

So, as you know if you have been following Harlene’s ride, she has experienced a skin transformation. Starting with baseline pictures, we then advanced to incredible skin care that is always at the forefront of scientific breakthroughs and results-driven statistics, physical and non-physical skin treatments (peels/microdermabrasions), laser rejuvenation, selective fillers, and a little Botox Cosmetic. Not to mention some fun gear changers like Latisse, brow and lash enhancers with tint, and always giving her the finishing touches with Colorescience cosmetics. We have reached the point where my focus has been on maintaining our results along with the ongoing task of continuing to prevent future damage.

This past month we used a SkinMedica Rejuvenize peel to her face, neck, and chest to slough and prepare for the upcoming fall weather…cooler and eventually cold. November we will introduce a new treatment, Microdermabrasion HydroPlus. This allows me to infuse a selected serum directly into her skin immediately following exfoliation. Different serums for a different focus…again customized for each person.

It’s Sunsational month again at Genesis! We are looking forward to and getting geared up for our 16th annual Sunsational Celebration Open House on May 18th. It’s hard to believe how many of these we have put on as a company. Every year we are so grateful to all who celebrate with us. This year also marks, for me, 16 years of being a client of Genesis. As some of you know, Dr. Prasad and Barb are my parents, so I was exposed to great skincare products and sun protection from a young age. As I have grown up, and when I began my career at Genesis eight years ago, I tried even more of the services and products we offer. I can’t say enough how much they have changed my life. Everything I have tried has been fabulous, from vein care and Biote Hormone Replacement to routine facials and Botox. At 31, I feel younger than I used to and feel more confident in my skin than ever before. I have grown up around a lot of my Genesis team, and we have added some newer faces as the years have passed. They are amazing! I feel privileged to work with such a solid and passionate group of people. I think this place is pretty magical and you can feel it when you come through our doors.
