This month I had my first Triniti Plus treatment, in a series of three. Let me say the results are AMAZING! I feel like this procedure took ten years off the appearance of my skin in just one session. The treatment had three steps, which were all done at the same appointment. I will share with you my experience on each of the steps, which Stephanie explained extremely well prior to and during the process:

1. elōs – (skin rejuvenation for pigmented & vascular lesions) this step was radio frequency and light energies that felt like a pinprick with each application and then my face got very warm. The pricks were not a lingering discomfort and they were not unbearable.

2. Sublime – (skin contouring) this step involved no discomfort; it was only a slight pressure and was only applied to my cheek bones, eyes, jawline and brow lines. This will reduce fine wrinkles by stimulating collagen production.

3. Sublative – (improve skin tone & texture) this step was radio frequency applied to the face in a matrix pattern and was a prickly sensation with each application followed by a “sunburn feeling” about halfway through the treatment. Stephanie provided me with a handheld fan so I could direct air to the areas where I was feeling the most burning sensation. During this step I could also smell a sort of burning skin odor but it was not overbearing.

Once complete, I headed for home. I felt as though I had a moderate sunburn but it was far from intolerable. This lasted for about two hours and then the remainder of the night I was fine, but I did smell the burning skin odor occasionally. I did not experience any pain through the night.

Day 1 post treatment – my skin was mostly red blotches and I had some swelling, mainly around my eyes, but I only felt like my skin was tight and dry. I looked much worse than I felt as I was not in any pain.

Day 2 post treatment – the red blotches had subsided and the brown spots were more prominent as this treatment targets the pigmented areas. My face felt like sandpaper from the matrix pattern on the Sublative step. My swelling was nearly gone and again I was not in any pain. Stephanie contacted me at home to be sure I was doing well. It is such a comfort knowing she is truly concerned about my progress!

Day 3-6 post treatment – during these days I could see very small scabs on my face which were literally the size of my pores so they were nothing that could not be hidden with a little makeup. My face continued on the surface to feel like sandpaper during these days of healing.

Day 7 post treatment – Stephanie gave me a microderm to assist in removing the roughness from my skin and when she was finished my face felt wonderful. It was a tight but very refreshed feeling.

Day 8 post treatment/forward – I went back to my normal daily routine and use of SkinMedica products. The only thing that has changed is I am missing some blemishes and fine lines!

The results I experienced with the Triniti Plus treatment were TOTALLY worth the couple hours of discomfort and the few days of concealing minor blemishes during my healing process. I am looking forward to the same treatment next month and what exciting results I may see! A new addition to my routine this month was the Colorescience Face Primer. Even without any foundation it was a perfect light concealer for active days and has a 30 SPF sunscreen in it to assist my regular sunscreen in providing me necessary protection to prevent sun damage.

What a month of younger-looking change for me!
