About Rachel Barfield

Rachel joined Genesis Medspa in early 2015, but her connection to the business runs much deeper. As the daughter of Dr. Chandra and Barbara Prasad, she has been part of Genesis since its beginning — from conversations around the dinner table to experiencing the treatments herself. Family is at the heart of everything Rachel does, and her deep sense of loyalty and pride in what her family has built shines through in her work each day.

Having personally struggled with acne, Rachel understands the life-changing confidence that can come from effective skincare and advanced aesthetic treatments. Her favorite part of her role is connecting with clients, using her creativity in marketing and social media, and contributing to Genesis’s strong community presence.

After living in Arizona for several years, Rachel’s return to Jefferson City gave her a renewed appreciation for the people and values of mid-Missouri. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Noah, and their daughter, Charlotte. She loves hosting dinner parties, decorating, and traveling — all while striving to live by her favorite motto: “Choose happiness.”owns
