“If nothing ever changed, there’d be no butterflies.” – Unknown
Change has been happening a lot in my life lately. Some changes small, others a little bigger! In July we welcomed our daughter Blake Rylee into our lives. She is absolutely perfect and she completed the last piece of our family puzzle. We are truly blessed to have her, but adding another baby came with change! We are adapting, and big brother loves her and loves his new role as big brother! I was fortunate enough to be able to spend nine weeks home with her, and that time flew by! I love my babies and loved being home with them, but I also like being a working woman!
I had a few butterflies floating around before I came back, and to say a few might be an understatement. I worried about balance! As working women we have a lot to balance on a daily basis. But with all the worry, I was still very ready and excited to come back to work!
I was most excited about being able to come back and be a full time esthetic nurse! I have had the pleasure of working in Dr. Prasad’s esthetic clinic for several years now, but now I get to focus all my time here and I am SO excited about that! The change is going to be so great; I never imagined I would be doing this in my nursing career! But that is what is so great about nursing… you can do whatever you want.
I am about four weeks into coming back, and so far so good; lots of learning is taking place and I love being back and seeing everyone! It’s a hard balance, but totally worth it and doable, so kudos to all the working mommas out there! We all deserve a pat on the back or a massage or a pedicure or a facial…! So when all you hard-working mommas need a break from this ever-changing, busy world, come in and let us pamper you!
I hope that everyone is ready for the change of season! Fall is my favorite season. I love all things fall: the leaves changing, the cooler air, hayrides, pumpkin everything, and wine! When the leaves start turning to their beautiful colors, stop and take a moment to enjoy the season of your life that you are in… because in a blink of an eye it will change, too!
