Back to school pictures will soon be blasting Facebook and social media everywhere. Good and bad memories will be made with so many back to school style choices. I had a flashback memory of my own bad makeup choice. I ended up with a horrible makeup line and a “ghost” white face. At school, kids have a lot of social interaction, so they need to have confidence in their appearance. My daughter, Ryann, is starting 8th grade this year and I would like to share her back to school makeup tips and what she said makes her feel more confident.
I had Ryann take a before and after selfie to show her back to school look after her makeup application. The picture shows a more even skin tone and a touch of color to add contour to her face. I asked Ryann what her favorite Colorescience product was and I was shocked. She said she loves her corrector palette because she can cover any pimple or under-eye darkness when she doesn’t sleep enough (teens say they never sleep enough). She also said it is so easy to apply because the back of the palette tells her exactly how to use it. It makes a greater difference in her appearance than any other product. I also asked her how long it takes her to do her makeup for school in the morning and she said about five minutes. I had her take a picture of all the products along with the brushes she uses to apply them.

Ryann always starts with clean and moisturized skin for a better application. She applied:

Ryann likes to practice applying her makeup and finding new ways to change her look for different occasions. As she gets into the school year I will post new looks and even before and after photos from her volleyball games to show how Colorescience stays on.
Makeup is more than just looking good on the outside; it can make you feel good and give you confidence within.
