January and February have been filled with constant reminders of why I love what I do. Dr. Prasad and I had the opportunity to attend the SkinMedica Educational Summit and meet the scientists, business leaders and other physicians from practices that carry SkinMedica. I left there so excited about the brand and, as always, thrilled that we are able to offer it to our clients. We got a sneak peek into some of the new products and research they are doing to further improve their lineup, and I can’t wait to share these new products with you later this year. The Colorescience VP also visited our facility, and again there are some exciting new products coming our way. They have formulated a new primer that will not only cover brown spots better, but will also help reduce their appearance. Both of these brands are near and dear to my heart because I truly believe they bring you (and me, too) the best science can offer.
Technology is also constantly changing, and with the new additions of UltraShape, Ultherapy, advanced technology in hair removal, and the PicoSure for tattoos and skin rejuvenation we have so many more tools in the box for helping our clients. It is fun to have so many options to address clients’ needs.

And speaking of clients, the clients who shared their stories with us gave me an even greater appreciation of the positive energy our services can bring. We also have had so many of you send in reviews and answer the surveys you are receiving from our appointment reminder program. They are overwhelmingly positive and a great treat in my inbox! Whether it is giving people back the ability to do the things they love or the confidence to go after them, it is so rewarding to get to be a part of positive change.

So if you’re waking up and choosing a job that isn’t giving you joy, and you have the option to change, maybe it’s time to take a look at what else is out there. I feel blessed to love my job and the people I share it with. So this February my wish for you is that you will find a job you love or maybe find a new way to love the job you have! Happy Valentine’s Day.
