Tan Safely and Beautifully With VersaSpa

The last time I was blogging I was excited and nervous for Brittany and Jeremy’s wedding. I cannot believe that for over a year we planned for this amazing day and, just like June, it is over! Every single detail came off perfectly and the long, stressful planning was worth every single minute and memorable moment. The day was perfect.

Over the past several months, I have put to test many of the tips and tricks I preach to my clients, and I used a few new ones for myself, always striving to make my skin not only appear young and vibrant, but to also make sure that it stays on that path. With today’s technology and our SkinMedica products, I am 100{d855275bb5a53a691922ddbe09fd77e36a4f35d1f88aaf3bcf40ae4b44ffef7b} confident that I am giving my skin the best. That is why I have become obsessive about sun protection and getting my summer glow on with self tanners. I did not always have that obsession; matter of fact, my obsession used to be (MANY YEARS AGO) get as much sun as I could tolerate and then, unfortunately, peel and start that silly process all over again. My journey to repair all that damage has been ongoing, and will be as long as I am having birthdays…and I definitely want lots of those!

My advice: get educated on easy, fun ways to hydrate and color your skin, not just in the summer but all year long. Our VersaSpa is the perfect answer. I was hesitant at first because my skin is dry and challenging, and keeping the color was sooo much work. VersaSpa was another life-saving treatment during my prep for Brit’s wedding. I wanted to look bronzed, not only in my facial appearance, but in my short-sleeved dress…baring my arms, my second “worst” feature. It was easy to get the color, and honestly, easier to keep it. The take-home products helped tremendously. I used the post-tan moisturizer, but the biggest benefit was from the sunless tanning bronzer. Mixing this with my daily moisturizer made the color vibrant and longer lasting…never fading. And not one comment that my color looked ‘fake’. The color is an amazing bronze, not orange.

Like many other things I do to correct, protect and maintain my skin, VersaSpa is a keeper!

It’s Sunsational month again at Genesis! We are looking forward to and getting geared up for our 16th annual Sunsational Celebration Open House on May 18th. It’s hard to believe how many of these we have put on as a company. Every year we are so grateful to all who celebrate with us. This year also marks, for me, 16 years of being a client of Genesis. As some of you know, Dr. Prasad and Barb are my parents, so I was exposed to great skincare products and sun protection from a young age. As I have grown up, and when I began my career at Genesis eight years ago, I tried even more of the services and products we offer. I can’t say enough how much they have changed my life. Everything I have tried has been fabulous, from vein care and Biote Hormone Replacement to routine facials and Botox. At 31, I feel younger than I used to and feel more confident in my skin than ever before. I have grown up around a lot of my Genesis team, and we have added some newer faces as the years have passed. They are amazing! I feel privileged to work with such a solid and passionate group of people. I think this place is pretty magical and you can feel it when you come through our doors.
