August was one of those months; you know the kind, things just start to pile up. For me, August contained mostly things that needed to be repaired. It seemed like everything was breaking down: cable, house, car, computer.
Mid-August I had a break in the frustration, a very welcome break. Kim did a microdermabrasion complete with dermaplaning, brow wax and eyebrow tint. I just didn’t realize that my naturally dark eyebrows had faded somewhat over time. I have looked at them for so many years and just got used to the color. Wow, the eyebrow tint was very cool! I have my darker eyebrows back and they look fuller and more defined. Move over, Elizabeth Taylor! Kim says the eyebrow tint is a little darker for the first few days and the color, which is a vegetable dye and totally safe, should last four to six weeks. What I noticed right away is how much one’s eyebrows frame the face. I always wondered why humans were given eyebrows as I have never seen a purpose for them until now. It was such a relaxing hour that I hardly cared when my curling iron broke later in the day.
My list of repairs contains a repair that was welcome …Botox. I’ve had Botox twice before, but this time we decided to go for broke, not only doing my squint lines and mid-eyebrow wrinkles, but also doing my forehead. As I write this, all I can say is TGFB (thank God for Botox) because all those frown lines brought by my ever-increasing repair list are totally gone. THANK YOU, DR. PRASAD!!!
I am trying out a new TNS product, new to me at least. It is the TNS Ultimate Daily Moisturizer that contains SPF 20. It has a lighter feel, goes on evenly, is absorbed quickly and feels great! One thing I have to say about the TNS products is that they are all packaged so attractively, in soothing gray with either a flip top for some or screw caps done in bright silver or matte gray. People who know me know that I am all about presentation and everything working together, both the exterior and the interior. It works for my wardrobe selections and it works for the TNS products. I am totally sold on the skin care products at JCMG Laser and Vein Center. The staff are great about coordinating the products according to your skin care needs. No guessing necessary. Just like the products, JCMG Laser and Vein Center staff have great presentation backed up by years of education. They all work together to give you the best possible packaging look, interior and exterior.
In September, I am doing Radiesse and Juvederm filler and really looking forward to the results that will take me into the holiday season with my own best packaging look! I will tell you all about it next time!
