Now that it is mid-August, many sports fans are getting football fever. I am looking forward to MU football, Jefferson City football and Lincoln U. football. Many of you know Mike Jones, head football coach at Lincoln. Mike is famous for his many years in the NFL. But he is also famous for making “The Tackle”, the final play in Super Bowl XXXIV in 1999 for the St. Louis Rams against the Tennessee Titans at the Titans one-yard line, preserving the victory for the Rams who earned their first Super Bowl title. That play, now known as “The Tackle,” has gone down as one of the greatest in Super Bowl history.
Very recently, I attended the 50th NAACP Freedom Fund Banquet held here in Jefferson City. It was a nice event and gave me an opportunity to dress up and put my best face forward thanks to the amazing staff and services at JCMG Laser and Vein Center. I had so many compliments during the evening. My complexion is looking better every day as more collagen is being generated through the services and SkinMedica products I am using. So, I know you are thinking, what does this really have to do with football!! Well, I had the good fortune of meeting my hero, Mike Jones, at this banquet and I have the photo, at left, to prove it. And, I had a lot more confidence knowing I was looking my best!
So, take your football fever and get out to watch our local teams play. You will have fun and perhaps meet Mike yourself! While you are thinking about it, call the JCMG Laser and Vein Center and schedule a consultation to find out the condition of your skin and how you can soon be looking your best as well!
