Harlene’s Story: SkinMedica, Triniti, Latisse, and Colorescience are a Winning Team
“Roll out those lazy, hazy, crazy days of summer,” lyrics from a popular song of some years ago….surely someone besides me remembers that little ditty….and crazy those days become with all the stuff we have to do and the stress those summer activities place on our body that eventually shows up in one’s complexion. But, who can forget that summer is also the yearly ritual of baseball and, whether you are a real baseball fanatic or not, chances are you will be “drafted” into either playing on a team, coaching a team or watching your favorite team play on a hot July afternoon. Fortunately, baseball can be fashionably watched while wearing your team uniform/t-shirt accompanied by a very welcome baseball hat, which is more protection for your skin than that knit hat worn during the winter. But, in addition to that baseball cap, don’t forget to use your SkinMedica products, always, always followed with sunscreen.
In the past month I completed the second “strike” of the Triniti series and I really noticed an improvement in the brown spots, wrinkles and broken capillaries on my face. In early July I will have the “third strike” and final session of Triniti, which I know will provide my game plan with even more improvement in those same areas. The mild discomfort of the Triniti treatments is a small price to pay for the results I am getting. The third Triniti treatment will strike out those unwelcome spots and wrinkles for quite some time.
Another great SkinMedica product I am using is the “designated hitter” of TNS body lotion. This lotion is a “home run” in my book. The lotion goes on light, absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave a greasy film on my skin. I love it!!
As I continue with nightly applications of Latisse for darkening and lengthening of upper eyelashes, I can see that improvement as well. Now I can really “bat” my eyelashes at someone if I feel like it. Does anybody really do that anymore, other than in the old movies? The last time I saw that going on was in the Tom Hanks movie, “A League of Their Own,” about the ladies’ baseball team and their issues. Tom told the ladies, “There’s no crying in baseball!” So, apparently tearing up and batting their eyes didn’t really work for the gals.
Kim and I got together recently for a cosmetic makeup session. I haven’t changed up my makeup in a long time. I was really looking forward to trying out the Colorescience line of high performance mineral cosmetics available at the Laser and Vein Center and I wasn’t disappointed. The products work together from the cleanser to finish, providing me with an even, fresh look to go with my more youthful complexion. I could tell a big difference from my old makeup that I put on that morning and how my skin felt and looked after my makeup session. Now I really feel spoiled. Thanks, Kim!!
I am in the seventh inning stretch of the 12-inning game of 2013. I am so appreciative of the coaches at the Laser and Vein Center. I’ve been on this game schedule for a while. I am looking forward to seeing what the rest of the game will bring, but whatever comes about, I know that the team-player staff at the Laser and Vein Center will be in my “dugout” and rooting for me all the way. They are my teammates, fans and base runners!
