I’ve started the Triniti series of skin rejuvenation. YAY!!!! Day 5 post-Triniti treatment #1. Kim thoroughly explained the whole procedure, and as the treatment progressed she shared with me just what was going to happen next. So I really had no apprehension. I was mostly just curious to find out how the whole treatment works. In the next two months, I will have two more Triniti treatments and I am excited to see the result.
The Triniti procedure has a little discomfort but I honestly had no problem except for the fact that I could not use makeup for the two days following. I never leave the house without makeup but I did have to go to work, so my co-workers saw what few others do. I did have the typical warmth, redness and mild swelling that was described to me but it wasn’t bad. I won’t have any problem repeating treatments #2 and #3. I am especially looking forward to seeing the before and after photos at the end of the third treatment. Right now my skin feels fairly dry and “scaly” but the microdermabrasion this week should improve that sensation! My other granddaughter and her fiancé are hosting an engagement party on the weekend, so I will be ready to party with them.
Earlier in the month, I was treated to a new type of pedicure, described as a “dry pedicure.” It was great: lots of products for my winter-dry legs and feet, and application of warm towels. Plus, I got to lie down and relax instead of sitting in a pedicure chair. And, while that was going on, Kim and I were selecting Butter of London nail polish and Lippy lip lacquer. So you might say I was spoiled from head to foot! I felt like one of those ancient Egyptians you see in paintings and drawings. I could REALLY get used to that! I highly recommend the “dry pedicure.” The new Lippy that I chose is a color I might not have chosen on my own but Kim assured me it looked great on me. I will take her word for it!
The other new treatment I am doing is application of Latisse to my upper eyelashes. Think of it as Rogaine for your eyelashes. My lashes already look longer, fuller and darker. Total results take several months; I am on my second month. Who needs to fool with fake eyelashes when you could be using Latisse instead and no one will be the wiser. However, a strip of fake eyelashes falling off into your margarita when celebrating Cinco de Mayo just might be a little more obvious.
