Most of us are ready for Ole Man Winter to move out and make room for spring flowers and spring weddings. Even though the calendar says that it is spring, the weather hasn’t been very spring-like recently.
Kim at JCMG Laser and Vein Center prepared me for my youngest granddaughter’s very recent “spring” wedding with an Illuminizing peel that was a relaxing complexion brightener. That was accompanied by continuing to use great SkinMedica products and then doing several VersaSpa sunless tanning sessions. I knew I had reached my goal of looking younger when both my granddaughters, pictured, exclaimed, “Grandma, you look sooooo GOOD!” I couldn’t have said it better myself, chips off the old block. The icing on the wedding cake was that when I was introduced as the girls’ grandmother, more than several people’s jaws dropped. I am taking that as a good sign! Thanks, Kim and staff!! If you could only make me a little taller……
Since my blog post a month ago, I began using several new-to-me products. One is Lytera, which I am hearing a lot of good things about lately. Lytera is a skin-brightening cream that improves the appearance of unwanted dark spots and provides visible improvement in skin tone and texture. It goes on the skin like velvet. I am also using Latisse, a very cool product, which lengthens and darkens eyelashes, if used daily as prescribed. Latisse will take approximately 16 weeks of daily use for maximum results. I’ve been using both products for almost three weeks and I am looking forward to seeing the improvements these products will bring.
Soon, Kim and I will start the Triniti series of skin treatments, usually three, that focus on color correction and the effects of sun damage. The treatments are done a month apart. I’ve never had the Triniti treatments before, but I understand that I will have some redness and swelling. Kim described it as having a little “social downtime” following the Triniti procedure. The result of skin tightening and wrinkle reduction will make any social downtime worth it. I was scheduled to start Triniti several months ago, but needed additional time for the Belotero filler that I had in January to resolve itself. I was always a “slow starter” but I am happy to report that all that is behind me and I am looking good.
Now, if we could only deal with the IRS with such positive results! Give that furrowed brow and grimacing face the “gift of a lift” ‘by making an appointment for your free skin consultation to see what skincare options are best for you. It will eventually be spring!
